I have this dress...now what do I do with it?

I was thinking a long, layered pearl necklace.....and what shoes?

I know lots of people wont like the dress, but it's really flattering and doesn't make my belly and bum look huge.

where is the dress?

chocoholic · 07/12/2010 21:32

Ooh, love the dress.

How about cream shoes or silver sandles?

ItsKurriiiistmas · 07/12/2010 21:35

ah Grin I think layered pearls would look nice - it has a vintagy feel to it (I think its very pretty BTW)

I was going to suggest pewter shoes, a heeled dolly maybe? (but a delicate one, not clumpy)

chocoholic · 07/12/2010 21:36

silver?

cream?

BelligerentGhoul · 07/12/2010 21:43

Cute dress. Are you in Birmingham? I do like a little mooch in People every now and then. :)

Yes - long pearls would be lovely with silver or pewter shoes and jewellery and either a pale fake fur shrug/cape or a feathered one like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=shop.samanthapeach.co.uk/media/capes400/silver-grey-feather-cape-model.JPG&imgrefurl=shop.samanthapeach.co.uk/grey-cape.html&usg=__ETRFxoBhuNlOWX4I8AbgjsKw73E=&h=400&w=399&sz=46&hl=en&start=1&zoom=1&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=VIxi-E5Ah5b-oM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dgrey%2Bfeather%2Bcape%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26tbs%3Disch:1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this if you're feeling brave!

I think the look to aim for is an updated posh Edwardian artistic-type lady!

panettoinydog · 07/12/2010 21:48

Dress is lovely

ItsKurriiiistmas · 07/12/2010 21:48

dolly Mary Jane I should say.

this sort of thing

or style not colour

def. go for edwardian/artist as BG suggests.

BelligerentGhoul · 07/12/2010 21:50

Ooh yes to that first one - in fact, nude dolly shoes like you get in dance/theatre shops would be ideal.

tethersjinglebellend · 07/12/2010 21:57

These would be lovely.

LynetteScavo · 07/12/2010 22:01

Oh, I lurve the feathered cape! (But fear it might make me sneeze Grin)

What coloured tights would I wear with those shoes? Confused

And no, I'm not in B'ham, it's the only link I could find.
