Where to buy affordable organic cotton clothes?

I have been looking for some affordable organic cotton clothing for my sons aged 14 months and nearly 3 but haven't found much. I've had a few bargains on ebay but it's a bit hit and miss.

The online shops like frugi etc have lovely stuff but v expensive. Is there anything on the high street?

TIA
J

H&M do a range of organic cotton t-shirts. Very reasonably priced, random designs.

What about seasalt? They have plenty of shops in Cornwall and are also online www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk Nearly all the clothes are organic cotton and they wash well and last for ages.

I forgot to mention tattybumpkinshop.com - and they've got a 50% off sale at the moment.

The only problem I have had with their stuff in the past is that bamboo clothes cannot be tumbled. However, website, customer service & delivery was excellent.

Check Jojomamanbebe and Cambridge Baby; also this site sells nice cotton things (they look nice) www.eczemaclothing.com/Department/Cotton+Socks+Tights/Childrens+Tights/C22++Flat+Knit+Leggings+-+Stripes.htm

Have a look at this online eco boutique , Running with Scissors (www.running-with-scissors.co.uk). There's a variety of clothing. Organic clothes are like free range and organic foods, they initially cost more because the process although better for the environment may not be the most cost effective. But it's worth it when you feel the softness of organic materials.

Wait til the end of season sale if you want Frugi the shop near me sells it at 70% off as do many others (its actually cheaper than Primark lol)

Frugi do a lot of flash sales that end up really cheap. They do have items at reasonable prices though such as babygrows for £9. www.welovefrugi.com/baby/baby-girl/
