in the most delightful way?

not heavy. just very very sparkly in a transluscent way. also interested in very shiney sparkly greys.

HATE bobbi brown metallic pots...feel very heavy and fall of the eye as too oily.

any suggestions?

If you live in London, the Pro branch of MAC just off Carnaby St does a product called reflets in it's pigments and glitters section - it's a really finely ground loose glitter. It comes in a few different colours including various transluscent white shades like white gold, white silver, violet, pearl. Looks beautiful on it's own over slightly moistened lids and stunning layered over various eyeshadows.

If you want something a little less granular, their Frost pigment is gorgeous too, and a lot easier to remove. You can put a shimmery silver/grey eyeshadow underneath it and then use the pigment to give it that extra translucent sparkle on top. They sell the frost pigment in most branches as far as I know.

I know you say no to Bobbi Brown but what about their glitter liner? Can be worn quite subtly or with more drama

Barry M have lots of sparkle and glitter to choose from with or without colour

I used to use this as eyeliner when out on the lash as a student.

Of course the advantage of that over actual make-up is that just before passing out you could swiftly peel it off.
