Warmest gloves/mittens for reynauds?

My mum has reynauds and admitted today that her hands haven't been warm all week, nothing works. I'd like to buy her some new gloves for Christmas that absolutely will keep her warm. Any links?

I saw an article about socks which had silver in them, and how it is supposed to be very good for people who find it hard keeping warm, they are also thinner than ski type thermal socks. Now I really don't know if this is true or just a load of nonsense. Maybe someone will come along in a mo.

I get Reynauds too, and recently bought some of the decent Polartec ones from Millets. Not exactly cutting-edge fashion, but tbh I don't care if it stops my fingers going white.

You can get heated gloves, or ones with a pocket for a chemical handwarmer (I got a giant box of little hotties on Amazon, and they are fab - keep going for 8 hours). Layering silk gloves with thick ones is very efficient too

I also suffer and have found Thinsulate gloves great.

Silk glove liners here worn with M&s leather gloves are my best combo. I hate my "candle" fingers. I like them because they are not bulky.

Another one to recommend buying chemical handwarmers in bulk form Amazon. My DH could not survive the winter without them

I have Reynaulds and have
a) some lovely sheepskin mittens that DH got me from the German Christmas market
b) some thermal lined gloves (I think they are made by Thinsulate) which are very good and were only £3 from a stall in the High St
c) some battery-operated gloves that warm up on the inside, which I had forgotten until now so must go and find.

Now I need to find a solution for my toes. I am wearing 2 pairs of socks a day but still can't feel my toes after being out for a bit.

thanks all! Some great ideas, I think maybe sheepskin mittens/gloves would make a stylish and warm pressie as you can get them in several colours. Maybe some silk liners as well to go with other gloves she already has.
