I want just one or two daytime outfits that are very current, and head-turning, but not high fashion twaddle. (I'm pushing 45.) I'm only 5 foot 2, a generous 12, biggish norks, fat wobbly arse, (but have good scaffolding knickers) short dumpy legs, teeny waist and reasonably flat tum. I can wear knee length or just above but only I have thick opaques, Smocky things do me no favours really. Whenever I go shopping I'm always drawn to stuff that is too formal or eveningy. I have two nice pairs of knee length boots (black patent classic riding boots from Hobbs and 'mouse' grey/brown suede with a high chunky wooden heel from M&S.)
Any nice funky sweater dresses around that won't make me look like a roll of carpet? Nice cord or tweed skirts that aren't Land Army girl from Toast? Wrap dresses that don't look too old-hat?
