Where are the nice going-out tops?

I suspect that this year for office do I will bottle it as being too cold for dress and strappy shoes, so I'd like a backup top I can wear with jeans instead. But I can't find anything in shops- all I see are dresses! Any ideas where to look? Limited budget of 50 quid absolute max...

M&S Per Una have nice quirky things, Monsoon are always good - and you can get bargain Monsoon items on ebay. Debenhams Designers (the Rocha and Star by Julian McDonald etc) have some nice stuff.

All Saints used to have some lovely wooly ones which were sleeveless but still really warm seeing as they were thick...haven't got time to link but thought I'd suggest!
