fab down coat in Aldi, 20 quid!

we are very short of money at the moment. Dh bought me this great coat from Aldi today whilst doing his bargain shop this morning. It's black, pure down-filled, hip length, good cut and is so toasty warm. I haven't had a new winter coat in approximately ... oooh 12 years? So went mad and got the other colour (dark choc brown) this eve too. I am now equipped to take dd's to the park without being freezing. I love dh

P.S bit skimpy on sizing - I got the largest size and it just zips up comfortably. I am prob a size 16 now but with big boobs.

I am an 18, bet it won't fit me.

Is this it? Looks great! Will it still be there tomorrow or do the offers only last one day do you know?

Have just got the much lauded on MN Merrell Wakefield, but tbh it's not the warmest coat!!

My sad old coat needs replacing badly and this cold weather is highlighting the problem. Most down coats coast loads more than that. Hooray again for Aldi.

Yep, that's the one. In our local branch thaey were almost sold out at 10am, but I got the second coat from another branch this eve at 6pm and they had loads left.

It is so much nicer than I was expecting for the price.

Ilythia - well it might fit you, I'm not quite sure what size I really am after 2 dc's in 2 years! I'm bigger than my former size 12-14, that's for sure. I could well be a size 18 but in denial...

I've just bought one - in brown - and it is super warm! i bought the large and I am a norkalicious size 14-16 and there's plenty of room. I trid it on in the shop before buying. i also bought a lovely scarf.

Tried one on today, and bought it, in black. I love the wrist cuffy things, nice and warm, and got some welly boot socks too.

It is a bit tight around the bum, but fits fine around the bust, so a few more weeks shredding and 'll be fine

I love aldi, it's about 5 minutes from my house, I had to run in to get milk and bread because of the panic buying arseholes (disclaimer - I actually need milk and bread for breakfast!) so figured I would have a quick look while I was there!

Thanks Eeky I dashed there for 8.30am this morning and got the last two in the shop (one for me and one for my mum) plus the boots! Just call me Aldi woman-not so much style and beauty but warm and dry! x
