Can you find me grown-up boots like these?

Have bought these for dd (she is 4) and I freakin' love them... Now, clearly I wouldn't want exactly the same as her as that would be a little odd (though if they had done adult sizes, I may have bought her something different Blush).

SO I am looking for mid-calf boots with a small sole but that I can go in snow/rain with (so not Ugg-slipper things), that have a similar feel to the above. Am pregnant so need to be easy to pull on, and not too heavy.

Red or open to other colours.
Tiny Small budget, but could be bit bigger (not more than £50 MAX) if they were good quality.

THANKS!

Not exactly the same (but then that might be a bit weird anyway Grin but these?

Great price too!

TotorosOcarina · 25/11/2010 14:16

here, select 'red' option

TotorosOcarina · 25/11/2010 14:17

or these, again select red

TotorosOcarina · 25/11/2010 14:19

these??

Adair · 25/11/2010 16:44

Have looked at those DMs before. I do like them (especially in purple) but put off by reviews that they are not waterproof!

Don't really want suede (for same reason). Saw those Killah ones today [smile} - am not sure whther I can get away with skulls as a 31yr old mother of (nearly) 3!! But found them cheaper on amazon... might have to give them a go.

Thanks for your suggestions both of you (will search La Redoute - hadn't thought of there), any more????

bump for evening crowd..?

Really, I need anything waterproof, cheap and easy to pull on (that will look alright with a skirt). Cheap snowboots?

Do they have to be red? Or purple?

wubblybubbly · 25/11/2010 19:46

There's these from New Look.

They're 'leather look' so could be waterproof Grin

They're actually quite nice in style and incredibly cheap, but black...

Adair · 25/11/2010 19:48

Not at all! (but I like slightly unusual...)

These are nice too, fur lined but black again!

ChateauRouge · 25/11/2010 20:07

Those DMs are nice... but do you think red boots on women over a certain age just make one look completely zany???

They remind me of the poem "when I am old I shall wear purple"... Blush

I do like them though... but I imagine it's Gudren Sjodren next step...

ChateauRouge · 25/11/2010 20:14

What about these? though depends on your foot size, as small sizes only.

Or these?

Adair · 25/11/2010 20:17

Grin am already halfway there with my zany red short hair! I don't really mind looking a bit odd a bit zany if I like them... But did wonder if skulls and studding was a bit much...

Like both your links wubbly. Both wouldn't have caught my eye, so really helped. Those Barratt's ones look great, though maybe a bit big (fab reviews)! And ditto the New Look ones... might be a bit Pretty Woman on me (am short)... though that's not altogether putting me off Blush.

Think I need to try stuff on, think I can try both those on Saturday - but thanks (and feel free to keep linking!!).

Heheh- I meant me for the zany person!
Arf@ red hair though... is that how you got your username? Smile

LooL00 · 26/11/2010 10:10

camper
I've never been able to afford camper so I don't know what they're like.

Adair · 27/11/2010 19:11

Ooh, I can't afford Camper either!

Finally went boot shopping today - and got some 'snowboots' with furry bits that I am really pleased with. And they only cost me £18! Result. Whether they are actually waterproof etc remains to be seen but they eel and look great! (Will try to put pic on profile at some point Grin)

Though no, they are not anything like what I was asking you lot to find Blush.
