What to wear with this dress, help pls!

I bought this dress from Oasis a few weeks ago and am yet to wear it as i'm not sure what to wear on my legs. Tights or leggings and if so what colour would you go for?

thick black or grey lace tights and black or grey shoe/ ankle boots. Think leggings look wrong at this time of year. Also think coloured tights are a bit wrong, a bit 2 years ago - know that sounds w*nk, but I hope you know what I mean. Great dress, really clean and minimal so keep it simple I think and just let the shoulder detail do its thing.

As the dress is plain black, you can go for coloured tights.
I have some nice mid grey ones which would look good, now I only need the dress

Whoops, linked to the black one. The one I bought is actually navy blue. I've got grey ankle boots to wear so those and grey tights still even though it isn't black?
