What can I wear for DS's christening?

DS is being christened in ten days, and it suddenly occurred to me that I can't very well hope no-one will be looking at me at my own son's christening! I need an outfit for the church: my pre-pregnancy bottom halves all fit, so I've got plenty of plain black trousers etc, but most of my nice tops don't fit because I'm breastfeeding and four cup sizes bigger than normal. I'm very short (only 5 feet), dark, hour-glass shaped and a size 8 everywhere except the boobs. I thought of Bravissimo but most of their tops show rather more cleavage than I'd be comfortable with in church.

I don't want to spend very much as anything I buy now will be tent-like when I stop feeding, but at the same time I don't want to look really shapeless and unattractive as the photos will be around to haunt me for a long time. Please help - any ideas?

where a pashmina or scarf or something to hide your cleavage in the church...then you could where a Bavissimo top.

Hmm, good thought except that DS will probably grab it and pull it off (he's 4 months and grabbing everything!).

just noticed my awful spelling where Blush should be wear...

if you had the pashmina folded in half and the ends looped through it he could grab it but wouldn't actually pull it off.

how about some kind of wrap dress?

Sorry, should have said I never wear skirts as I have really horrible legs, so I need to be wearing trousers on the bottom half. The pashmina idea probably would work if I did as you suggest - thanks.
