LOs pyjamas with long tops

My dd will only wear pyjamas but on tops always come up over her tubby belly and she gets cold in the night.

I want soft cotton but can't spend £25 on a nightie and another £20 on separate trousers. Any one seen any?

Gap ones are quite long I have found

How old is she? M&S have some all in ones for children upto 7 I think - they looked really snuggly!

2nd Gap ones and the skinny long-john type ones from Next are quite generous too. I also try to remember to tuck DD's top into her bottoms before she gets into bed.

White stuff have good pjyamas.

I now buy M&S long sleeved nighties and put them over Mothercare PJs (on offer at the moment). I was wondering the same and didn't want to go back to vests with poppers underneath at night to keep her tummy warm.

In scandinavian countries kids wear nightshirts with piggy bottoms which is what I want I think but they're all so dear.

I do tuck her top in but it's out as soon as she moves.

I think all I can do is by nighties and separate long bottoms.

Um, piggy bottoms?? Have mental picture that I'm really hoping is not accurate representation!

Piggies as in pyjamas. Have you never heard them called that ?!

I hadn't until you had your "piggy problem" last Xmas. Was totally flummoxed

Get 2-packs of soft jersey leggings from mothercare, sainsbury's etc (2 for £5 or similar) and 2-packs of basic nighties. Can't see why it has to cost much at all. Look through mothercare/sainsbury's bargain rails too - they always have copious ones, not just at sale time.

What about the Primark all in ones? DD1 has a fleecy pair and she loves them.

You can get away with a bigger size as well because the bottoms have cuffs & don't trip them up if a bit too long IYSWIM.

Next also have all in one sleepsuit type things up to about age 5 I think

Never heard them called piggies before, ever! Was imagining little children with curly tails!
