Any other suggestions welcome - needs to be fairly long, v. warm and waterproof!

I like no.3 the best and I have seen comments on other threads about how warm it is. Am considering it myself in the black.

What colour? You could def pretend to be Princess Leia on the ice base if you go for one in white.

It is v cold. Although I automatically thought of the biting wind of the north-east for some reason and maybe op lives in the doucer west.

I think number 2 is quite stylish.

Sounds like no. 3 is the winner. Think I'll send for 1 and 3. I like no. 2, but the site is pretty hazy on delivery/returns.
