agreed. I just bought a half slip from Next because my corduroy kept going up my legs because it was sticking to my tights.

MaeMobley · 17/11/2010 20:25

my cord dress

CMOTdibbler · 17/11/2010 20:29

M&S slips are fab - I wear the slinky ones to stop dresses clinging

moragbellingham · 17/11/2010 20:29

Yes, I wore one for the first time in years the other day.
Half slip thing from M&S

traceybath · 17/11/2010 20:30

Oh yes indeedy - essential for smoothing things out.

alfabetty · 17/11/2010 20:30

Yes, I have a thin black full slip (knee length) from M&S that gets a lot of wear. It like a strappy nightie, very plain, not frilly white nylon like the old days...Smile

link pls

brimfull · 17/11/2010 20:32

Like this -

www.marksandspencer.com/2-Pack-V-Neck-Full-Slips/dp/B003FCUW3K?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_24&sr=1-24&qid=1290025997

When I bought mine they did different lengths, so an inch above the knee, on the knee, just below. But it was ages ago!

alfabetty · 17/11/2010 20:37

Just read the blurb, they do still do them in different lengths. Mine's just above the knee, so does for longer dresses too as it stops the dress clinging around hips and tops of legs which is usually where the static starts.

CMOTdibbler · 17/11/2010 20:37

this is th one for full, and half in a vareity of lengths

brimfull · 17/11/2010 21:00

reviews are awful for that one
