I need a recommendation for a bra that will shove them UP!!!

I don't need a cleavage, due to style of my dress, but need them pushed to the sky so that a little bit of them show over the top of the dress if you know what I mean. At the moment, my dress looks a bit like a bandage over that area.

Ahem, what size are you? And do you need something smooth and seamless, or does a bit of seaming not matter? Will your dress cover ordinary bra-straps OK?

fartmeistergeneral · 16/11/2010 20:04

34B and dress is strapless. Want spaghetti straps ideally, but not sure where to find just satin-y straps. Have a satin bra but the straps are just elastic-y as normal.

Presuming I can't find straps to sew on, just need boobs raised up a little!

Seaming doesn't matter!

Can't offer any specific recommendations as I am not a strapless kind of a gel. Anymore.

What about a multiway bra with jewelled straps bought separately? I bought some straps locally but a quick Google will show you what there is.

for example here

Failing which,
Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless has got to be worth a look

this is nice but not sure it's quite what you're after

Gorgeous undies!

I think what I'm really looking for is a wonder bra type thing, but with my 34B, do they really work?

M&s ceriso give a big push up- don't know if they have strapless but they are a good price.

i have been told that if you wear a cup size smaller that has the desired effect.

cruelladepoppins · 17/11/2010 17:51

I used to try the bra on with the frock, then jump up and down vigorously (without shoes!) half a doen times and see what you look like after that. If you gave "slipped" unacceptably, then the bra is no good for you and should go back.

I am not keen on the "cup size smaller" idea because I fear the "double boob" effect.

I second Wonderbra. Am A/ B cup so I should know and it has worked for me. Not that anyone would confuse me with Sophia Loren Grin Wonderbra sounds somehow wonderfully 1990s though, doesn't it?
