Where can I look for a cheapy but pretty handbag for 2 yr old DTs as stocking fillers? They love to play with my bags but I've lost too many lipsticks to their playing and would rather they had their own! Thanks!

Thanks MMJ .. haven't a Claires nearby but will have a look in Disney shop on-line. Have been looking at Accessorize but not really suitable for a play bag. Ta!

Cath Kidston mini book bags at £6 are good. Lots of dept stores have them now and also online.

Hello Kitty London bag at M&S and Claires are good.

Charity shops are the way forward.

£6 for a stocking filler???????????

NorbertDentressangle · 15/11/2010 16:18

Matalan had some girls bags for £3-4 including silver sequinned ones.

Mothercare have one in the shape of Peppa Pig's head Hmm

I got one of these for DD last year. It's child sized and DD loves it.

Rockbird · 15/11/2010 16:27

Ooh, meant to say that I didn't pay that much for it, got it from ebay and it was about a fiver all in.

moragbellingham · 15/11/2010 16:38

Yes, I knew someone would say thatSmile - I bought these as presents not stocking fillers.
And am now off to Matalan to find the black patent handbag Norbert linked to!

Oh thanks for all the links and suggestions. I quite like the look of some of the Disney bags ... and yes, they're more than £6 Shock! Rockbird - would you be able to take a guess at the approximate dimensions of the In the Night Garden bag please? The girls are potty about IgglePiggle and Macca Pacca ('scuse spelling!!).

Thanks all.
