So I have made good progress since having DD, sorted a decent make up bag, got a decent bra and some nice jeans (although not skinnies as I am a pear). I have basics.

But what I have no clue about is accessories to make me look more current.

I look at other people who look chic and stylish and have noticed they always have scarves and belts and funky shoes and so on - how do I do this? Am only early thirties fgs so why do I have no clue?

Can anyone share some top tips please?

Nice shirt! I am loving my superdry ones although aware I may look a little mutton in them Wink

I tend to match tights with shoeboots but am a tad conservative.

These look nice and not too high for everyday.

I have these for going out and they're fab - very leg-lengthening with opaques.

I hear the conservative thing - I am trying to get out of my rut but I know me and if I waver before heading out the door I will go right back to my bootcut jeans and converse Grin

Thanks for the suggestions - I saw the first pair in M&S but didn't try them. Might start with them and see how I get on. Am not afraid of a heel but don't want to run before I can walk! Grin

great ideas here. Twoboots where do you get decent palazzo trousers, in size 16 (esp nice looking ones, that aren't black polyester type...)
