Can someone explain ties to me - please

Am getting married in December and would love the groom and the groomsmen and my son to wear the same ties, my query is do children wear a different size of tie, my son is almost 5, I have seen some shops that sell childrens ties and some seem to imply they wear the same size as men?
Does anyone know the truth ?Blush
