Non Tarty Clothes for 13 yo DD

Advice please.
My DD is not a girly girl, yet enjoys clothes. Where can I buy stuff for her that is age appropriate, fun and not pink and tarty?

I've discovered Zara worth a look; lots of trousers and chunky knits, plus skirts and dresses if she wants them.

We do find things in new Look, but you have to sift through the acres of black.

And Republic if I feel like splashing out.

Yes. I've ordered things off the New Look site and it was a good service. Will check out Zara: thanks.

H&M obviously is another one, and I've sometimes found nice t-shirts at BHS.

It's just like shopping for yourself, though; you end up having to look in loads of different places to find one or two things Smile.

I get lots of DD1's stuff from H&M (or rather she does). Depends on how tall she is, DD is now 5'4" and so fits a standard size 8 which broadens her options. It is more of a pain when they are not yet quite tall enough for adult sizes and the teen stuff is either too childish or too tarty for them.
New Look is good too, and she has some stuff from River Island (again a case of sifting through the tat) and Topshop.
