Woke up today to find my bids last night for £240 worth of pampering treatments for the princely sum of £59 had been successful. Just gotta decide when to redeem-before or after baby (due Jan). My booty includes a cut, colour, blow dry and Balinese head massage from one salon and Nouveau eyelash extensions, manicure and eyebrow threading at the other.

I love the fact that most of the vouchers can be redeemed within 3-12 months and what's offered at such discounted prices are things I normally do and pay full price for. I am going to stockpile some more deals as they come up towards the end of the year-including more practical one off house cleaning! and use them in the months after the baby when I will be in need of pampering, but won't have the money to pay full price. Anyone else heart Groupon?

I've heard it mentioned, but didn't know what it was, will have a look.

It sounds a bit like Glamoo, offering discounts from major companies, events restaurants etc.

I bought an £18 Moroccan Hair Oil voucher from Glamoo to be redeemed at Michael John Boutique, the discount was 40%, but I was very annoyed to find the company charged over £5 for delivery, when they offer free delivery for non voucher items.

Have booked a haircut and colour for £58 at a salon in London. Looking forward to it. Fingers crossed it is all ok.

Just bumping this thread - having signed up for it a while ago and not paid it any attention I read a piece about it in the paper today.

Just bought an hours bowling for 6 for £9.

I think I might be a convert...

Ohforfoxsake · 29/01/2011 18:15

Obviously not one for the Style and Beauty topic! Blush

RamonaFlowers · 29/01/2011 18:19

Massages for all but nought pounds.

Teeth whitening kit for £29.

Bootcamp for £25 (8 sessions). Shame I broke my leg not

Those that had teeth whitening, is it the home kit with blue led light? I think that deal comes up quite a lot but am too scared to try it incase I melt my teeth. Does it work well?

upahill · 29/01/2011 20:45

DH bought a pampered day at the sumptuous Mar Hall for MIL and SIL last year, they had no probs redeeming the voucher and had a fab day!

dexter73 · 29/01/2011 22:35

I got my dd a cut & blowdry, semi-permanent colour and massage for £22. I went into the salon to book it and there was no problem at all. She was at the salon for just over 2 hours and came out looking fab.

Monadami · 29/01/2011 22:45

I was very tempted to book Lipotite, but didn't in the end.
