I have a Christening soon (I'm GM) that I really need a gorgeous dress for.

I tried this Phase 8 dress on today and it's nice but not sure it's the one.

I'm a petite size 8.

MrsDepp, I already have the warehouse one in black- it's really lovely. When I bought it it only came in black or cream, the navy is gorgeous.

What sort of length is it? I'm about 5'7.

It sits just at the top of my knee, but I'm only 5'0".

There are some great dresses on Republic, just a shame so many of them are one-shouldered.

Lovely Republic dress Sweetheart, but I'd worry about beads dropping off (I'm not very good and embellished things - too clumsy!).

Been thinking about the Warehouse Ethereal dress all day - think I might get it!

Yeah MrsDepp, the beads around the wrists are the only bit I'm not too keen on.

Have tried it on - the quality is ok but the dress is very much on the small side. I'm normally an 8-10 in dresses and needed to go to a 12 in this for it to look reasonable!

I bought this today it looks nice on but I'm going to shorten it, as I'm a bit on the short side the length on me is just above knee and I'd like to vamp it up a bit and wear it mid thigh with black opaques

Tried to buy that Ethereal dress on line last night - website was being soooo slow, then just as I was completing the order it announced that the dress "wasn't available for home delivery" and threw it out of my basket. Might try to reserve it at my nearest store.

Just to let you know the Warehouse Ethereal dress in Navy is on asos with 20% off it plus another 20% if you use code grazianov. I've ordered one in black and navy but couldn't go bare legged. What would I wear with the Navy dress? it show the model wearing black tights with it, is this do-able?

Normally I hear about things like that AFTER I've ordered elsewhere. Anyway, order for Navy Ethereal dress has been placed and much money saved! I can't believe it was so much easier and cheaper than buying from the actual Warehouse website. How did I miss ASOS for so long?

I think it will be OK with black opaques (I hope so.....). I'll report back next week when it arrives.

I'm gutted - ordered the Etheral dress from asos in an 8 but need a 10 and it's out of stock! Could get it from Warehouse direct but it's £55 Did anyone order a blue one in a size 10 that they don't want?

No, I ordered a 12 - it arrived today! I'm actually a 10-12, but in this case the 12 was the right choice.

Looks absolutely lovely, but I'm a teeny bit concerned it's too young for me (having an old git moment at 43). DH has just got home - have to do a fashion show for him and report back.

Sweetheart - Damn I've posted a size 10 back to asos today. You could always keep an eye in the hope it goes back into stock. Also there is a code for Warehouse which gives £10.00 off a £50.00 spend SHOP10HP. I've gone with the black to avoid a shoe tantrum.

Nope - it's been taken off of asos all together I tried to order direct with Warehouse and it says it's not available for home delivery - i can collect from store but the closest store where it is in stock is over an hours drive away. Also tried all the department stores that stock Warehousse but none of them have it in stock either

I did request an exchange from asos so keeping my fingers crossed that something that's been returned by someone else will find it's way to me!

I have found a gorgeous dress today in Monsoon . Ignore the way it looks on the mannequin. It looks vile on there! But in reality it is a gorgeous vibrant silk and fits like a more "grown up" version of the FC Bex dress - ie is short enough to be cool but long enough to avoid mutton references.

Well, I did a little twirl for DH and he liked the dress (all the better for it being £35 instead of £55 thanks to you MN voucher-code-spotters)!

But I must remember not to bend down in it - I gave DH an eyeful when I took off my shoes, not that he minded too much, but my boss might not appreciate the same sight at the office Christmas Do.

Sounds like I ordered in the nick of time, though Sweetheart - what a pain you can't have it delivered.
