Help me with Boden preview trews (Millie1?)

Anyone thinking about ordering anything?
I am looking at:

Chinos - straight leg
Straight leg cotton
Cropped chinos

The cropped chinos are 27 leg which means i would need to shorten as i am a 29 leg full length.

I am not convinced that any are worth the £££, but my fave of all the above are the cotton straight legs in the parchment colour.

Bear in mind that I am ancient, a size 10 and like to look vaguely fashionable but not like a teenager. I usually wear linen drawstrings in summer or jeans.

Also, I canot see one dress or one skirt that does it for me, so if I have missed anything gorgeous, do tell.

If you aren't convinced they are worth the money then don't buy them. Try to find some summer trousers next year when the shops have their summer ranges in.

Nothing constructive on the Boden trousers front I'm afraid. I like the look of the ones you mention but personally only feel comfortable in jeans etc on, not below, my waist, and the only style on the waist in Boden is the bootcut, which I'm bored with.

But just wanted to agree that the dresses and skirts seem uninspiring this time - I usually see a dress or two and a summer skirt which tempt me. Thinking maybe the Santorini skirt for hols. but doesn't really thrill me - a bit pretty-pretty.

I actually prefer the below waist trousers- they are usually just below belly button- not just above knicker line!

I might order the cotton straight legs and see what they are like- will be £47 after discount.

I find trousers very hard to buy- currently wearing Uniqlo jeans for £15.

I don't like next, or White Stuff for trousers, or M&S, so feel very limited.

I buy a few bits and bobs from Kew and Jigsaw, and the White Company, but their trousers are more than Boden's.

Haven't actually looked at the Spring Preview (huh?) but why not do as you planned, order, try and send back if you don't like. I've not had a lot of luck with Boden trousers of late but I did get some lovely pairs a few years ago.
