Just bought this and am so excited I had to share. It looks fantastic on - (I'm a 16)- really flattering and a bloody bargain to boot! Quite well cut for Peacocks I would say. Woman in shop said they're flying out.

They've got some other really nice ones too, there was a lovely dove grey ruffly dress. Just in case anyone is party dress shopping - I wasn't intending to but it just sort of happened Blush

Thats really nice, I love Peacocks at the moment.

I bought the dress today and at £25 is nealry £20 cheaper than those I've seen in Dotty P and Wallis.

True to size too Smile

I've been rummaging in there lately. Haven't bought anything yet but it's not as teenage as I expected.

The army green biker jeans are on my wish list.

vicbar · 06/11/2010 22:55

I love the shoes too, very high fashion but dirt cheap.

MaudOHara · 07/11/2010 13:57

Ooh I've been looking for xmas party stuff and found this nearly a third of the price of the Monsoon one I was eyeing up.

Clure · 07/11/2010 15:33

I quite like this wondering about the length as I'm 5'1 was hoping it would still be fairly short and in keeping with the "mini"

littledolly · 07/11/2010 18:36

OOhhhh Maud - loving that one! At that price, you could buy a few!

biglips · 07/11/2010 18:47

ive tried this on and it really fitted me very well as you can have it as a dress or a dress with jeans etc....gorgeous!!!

Whoamireally · 08/11/2010 20:53

Y Maud that dress is lovely - being a bosses wife people tend to remember if I wear the same dress two years running. I bought last year's party dress in Peacocks too! Wink

and this

MaudOHara · 08/11/2010 22:14

This is a bit like this but with long sleeves

TheFarSide · 08/11/2010 22:19

Did you lot not see the documentary this evening on channel 4 about exploitation of workers in the rag trade? Most of the major high street fashion retailers got a mention, and not in a good way.

MaudOHara · 08/11/2010 22:20

Getting carried away comparing with Monsoon - tenth of the price but not sure I would wear it

stressheaderic · 08/11/2010 22:34

bloody lovely and makes a change from black

Whoamireally · 08/11/2010 22:49

That's nice that is stressheaderic but in the flesh it looks a bit thin, you would be needing your thermals Grin

Yes the thing with Peacocks is I think you have to go in and feel the clothes, quality is very hit n miss.

sharbie · 08/11/2010 22:56

I saw a gorgeous bag in there at weekend not on website tho - silvery metallic with flowers on
