Dresses you can breastfeed in.. HELP!

I was SO excited at the prospect of being able to wear my normal clothes again, I'd forgotten that it's next to impossible to breastfeed in a dress (without hoiking it up and showing everyone your knickers, which is not ideal!) - I was looking forward to a winter living in jumper (or any) dresses, tights and boots.

Does anyone know of any breastfeeding friendly dresses - ie with working buttons, kind of Henley style...? Similar styles to the Hush Henley dress I guess (but ideally a bit cheaper!)

Thanks

bumping for same reason as you

i find that anything with a low cut v neck, stretchy, like a wrapround works. i find it easier to pop out over top and wear a scarf to help cover up a bit!

i have a small/medium breastfeeding dress from frugi. Will try and find link. If either of you want it it is yours.

Bumperlicious · 30/10/2010 13:35

If neither of these guys are interested Tweetweet i may be. What size does iy equate to?

Bumperlicious · 30/10/2010 13:37

Sorry, cross posts!

SpawnChorus · 30/10/2010 13:45

Agree with Nightshade. I hoik down with stretchyish dresses.

TweetTweet · 30/10/2010 13:51

lol should have started a bidding war Wink

It is a 10/12/14. Slightly random sizing. I was a 10/12 bottom with 32/4 f norks and it fit nicely and would have been fine with weight gain.

crumpetsolo · 30/10/2010 20:19

Aw, it's a bit big for me then I think - I will have to relinquish it unfortunately! Thank you though

I just wear the jumper dress but wear [whispers] jeggings and a vest top underneath so I can lift it up to feed.

Bumperlicious · 30/10/2010 21:02

Don't you find them a bit chunky to lift? Ideally we need cowl neck dresses to pull down.

TweetTweet · 30/10/2010 23:22

lol ok! Dress back on offer :)

GraceK · 30/10/2010 23:36

Wrap dresses.

Anything with a low v-neck in stretchy fabric -such as this which I'm wearing & feeding with atm teamed with a selection of pashminas.

GrandhighBOOba · 31/10/2010 09:55

Yes, a bit chunky, but cowl necks do not look good on my currently huge chest!

crumpetsolo · 31/10/2010 11:19

Hmm, I have found this - a maybe..

I've got this from Gap and it is very easy to breastfeed in. It is reduced too.

MrsC2010 · 31/10/2010 20:00

Wrap dresses, try ebay.

I wear this with a t-shirt under...t-shirt up and wrap to one side...easy peasy!

CreeperSutherland · 31/10/2010 23:12

I ordered that dress a while back, crumpet, and it looked like a nighty on me!

otchayaniye · 01/11/2010 06:49

I wear dresses all the time and breastfed (well, still do) out and about for 21 months.

Wraps. Wear a camisole, hoik it up and pull the dress to one side. Job done
