Primark - Have you REALLY found anything good in there ?

Totally exasperated! Spent my lunch hour trawling Primark for any fashionable bargains and everything I tried on was vile and ill fitting.

I have bought two things in there in the past and both had to be thrown out after about 2/3 wears as went bobbly etc etc.

Does anyone really find anything half decent in there ?? Or am I just looking at the wrong things ?

Should say that I have bought the odd thing in there for my DCs which have been good and have lasted.

I cannot support Primark enough!!!

I live in it! (and with my profession cannot afford to look cheap...) The cashmere is brilliant, its jumper dresses are better than anywhere else and less than half the price, its bras are the only ones that fit and don't cost £50+, I just bought a wrap around coat for £49 - 95% wool, 5% cashmere - call me mad but cannot think of anywhere else I could get that for under £200.

Being 22 weeks pregnant I cannot afford to keep replacing clothes as I grow but Primark does long fitting jumpers and T-shirts that are working out brilliantly...

Seriously cheap PJs; let's face it, who wants to spend loads on nightwear? The kids stuff can be fantastic - jeans and cheap summer dresses - and PJs again! Bits and bobs for stocking fillers. I have a green cardi which I have worn and worn; dh also buys cheap shirts which he wears to work.

Ps - just saw mention of tights - today I was asked if my skin coloured ones were Wolford... No, they are Primark...

Have got my mum, two of her friends and my two sisters onto Primark tights - so much better than Boots or M&S (which I call v v expensive) and just amazingly better than the supermarket versions (which are the same price as Primark anyway)

Great for cheap and cheerful Summer dresses for foreign hols - bought 2 gorgeous cotton sun dresses for myself this year, perfect for very hot weather.

Good also for accesssories, and for filling up those dreaded Christmas shoes boxes.
