A combination of pregnancy/ the cold/ regular swimming is playing havoc with my skin and I appear to have developed scales on my legs they are so dry.

I am after a really lovely oil or lotion that I can slap on after showering which will make my skin lovely and soft and smooth.

Requirements:

must dry quickly - I want to be able to slap it on and get dressed immediately not faff around with two children running wild whilst I wait for it to sink in.

Something with a lovely smell would be a bonus as depsite showering well my regular swimming leaves me with an ever lingering whiff of eau de chlorine.

Don't mind cost but absolutely no cocoa butter the smell makes me want to vomit at the moment.

Thanks

I use a botanics one. Will just try and find a link

I tried this and loved it organic bloom or any of the A'kin products are lovely. my mum uses them as she swims regularly although she is mainly an ocean swimmer so has slightly diffrent skin needs.

Oh, you poor thing - skin on my belly started going scaly in my second pregnancy.

You could do worse than an olive oil/sugar scrub, you know, rendered fragrant with some lavender oil.

I'm a big fan of bio oil

I second bio oil. You can dress immediately after applying. Smells ok, too. [hgrin]

Mamma Mio range is gorgeous.

The body one smells of sweet oranges like Opal fruits and it's absorbed really quickly.

clarins tonic body oil was very invigorating for me, a bit like geraniums in a greenhouse....i was always a bit queasy whilst pregnant and i didn't mind this smell

I've been using Bio-Oil on my v dry legs and am very pleased with it, as it soaks in immediately. I also rate Aveeno moisturiser.

Thanks - I have used bio oil in the past and I do like it. I'm just after something a bit more scented to try and counter the permenant chlorine smell that wafts around after me.
