What shop does good children's clothes...for me to wear?!

Bear with me.

I'm 5 ft 1 and 7st. After trekking all over town trying to find jeans that fit, I finally snuck into H&M changing rooms and tried on the 12yo jeans. They fit (as skinny jeans, obv), and they were cheap too.

Obviously I'm not planning on buying ALL my clothes from the kids dept from now on, but I was just wondering whether any other small people sometimes bought kids' clothes and which shops were best

i have loads of stuff from kids h&m! they are so cheap and go up to 14+ which is great, I dont really get kids suff from anywhere else, funnily. Some of the kids gap jeans/trousers fit though. The main thing I find with kids clothes is the necks are really high

new look has a 9-15 range which is ok

I've worn a lot of Gap Kids stuff. I'f 5'5 and tend to find it's a little short in the arms/legs so I imagine you'll be fine.

I've worn boys gap stuff in the past - things like gilets. Not much shape though, though perhaps now I am more flatchested post baby it will work again.

I've tried H&M and Zara Girls. H&M ok for jeans etc and Zara girls fine for tops (as long as you're not too busty). Had a couple of jackets from there too. We don't have a Gap kids here or I would try there too.

Check out the Boden Johhnie B Range

Nothing new, but I've also bought a fair bit from Gap, H&M, Mini Boden & Johnnie B.

Zara does good fashion pieces, some of the stuff could easily be for adults.

Oh yes, meant to add Zara to my list. I usually get my winter coat from the girls collection.
