And it still has a mark on it - right in the top middle, can't hide it - I think it must have been gravy or red wine? It is the only going out dress I own, I can't afford to buy another, I was counting on wearing it to a big posh wedding next month and a wedding reception tomorrow.
Is there anything I can do?
I'm really fed up about it - I had to eat lots of chocolate when I discovered it was still marked when I got home. Sad Sad Sad

Don't whatever you do ,topically spot the Mark ,if you are going to wash commit to washing it , I will tell you how we do it if you want me to..I didn't think it was 100% silk though ??

ggirl I'll take that as a compliment - you ment a young Davina McColl didn't you??

I have a little black cardi thing that covers it nicely for tonight [phew] will decide if that looks nice enough for big posh wedding later Smile

Dress is 100% silk, lining isn't..

Happened to me - I took a deep breath and put my fave, fave fave dress in teh washing machine on the lowest setting - it came okay...

Ffs ,do not put on stain devil you will get a horrible water Mark..I see this all day long wher people ruin things trying to spot themselves..completely immerse in water or don't..
