I wore over the knee socks today and felt very nice (but also very naughty - I do recommend it!)

I bought some chunky knit over the knee socks from asos (2 black and 1 grey) and tried them on, nearly wore them a few times, always bottled it.

Did wear my grey ones folded over to below knee and wore with my riding boots and was very :) but did not seem to be able to go 'all the way'!

So today, I wore the grey ones over leggings, with a floral dress and with my knee length winter coat (fastened!). At first I was all and and then I opened my coat....and I couldn't help having this wicked smile on my face! It was alot of fun....I implore others to give it a go

P.S plus DH rather likes it too

32! I admit the 'bare legs' and over the knee socks is not something I'd wear being 32 - well,outside the bedroom - but the sock thing is very practicle and very warm :)

Very interesting. I bought the same socks I think from asos but haven't worn them as I've not decided what they go with. I have a camel dress from Zara & some camel knee length riding style boots I'm thinking of trialling the socks with.

I did wonder about that at first. I tried the socks over the knee with the boots but the proportions were all wrong on me, hence I fold them so they just touch my knee when wearing with boots (but u can still see them and they still look sexy IMO!)

FrameyMcFrame wear long socks if you want to. It's great to find such a simple something that makes you feel good about yourself esp something so reasonably priced.

This is a look I sport when walking the dog! I wear these socks with skinny jeans/leggings and my boots and my socks are always sticking out of the top of my boots. Keeps my legs nice and warm!!

I did this a lot last winter. Very cosy and cute. My fave socks have little teeny bows at the top on the side.

framey I agree with rosie, if u wanna wear it then wear it! it's just a great way of getting more wear out of dresses in winter!

How do stop them falling down all day? Drives me mad. I think they look really cool too.

mine are the asos ones and they don;t fall down...are super long though maybe that's why? And also wearing with tights/leggings means they ahve something to hold onto I guess?! :)
