Assist me with completing the look

I've finally found a dress that isn't too skin hugging and looks alright on me for an evening wedding do, but what do i wear with it? It's a coast dress called Elspeth - it's gold taffeta with a sequined hem.

I did try to find a link but am getting no where. It's quite a short dress - very bold for me.

Since dress is very short/shiny, I think you need shoes that cover a fair bit of foot, rather than strappies. Something like these perhaps.

those are nice but a bit high for me [old frump face]- what about tights?
