if so what did you think of them, they seem to be half the price of normal ugg boots...

Yes I have and theyre lovely! I dont have Uggs so cannot compare, however they are so toasty. I thought my feet had died and gone to heaven the first time I put them on. I cant remember where I got them from but it didnt take long. Check whether you have to pay UK import duties as I think I was a bit stung at the time. Def worth it.

The shipping cost is a flat rate of £10.00 which isnt bad!

Shipping rates are just the cost of postage and packaging you may still have to pay import tax it all depends on the actual cost of the item itself but you could be looing at up to 30% on top ( covers VAT and import duty) if you google buying goods from abroad it will fill you in on all the details.

I'v had these last year as a gift off the boyfriend, I asked him to get me these specific ones, I wasn't interested in paying the rediculous price of Uggs, as theyr made in China, way overpriced, if you were looking at buying the genuine uggs check out www.celtic-sheepskin.co.uk you will be pleasantly suprised, Iv jsut ordered another pair of uggs from there and cannot wait for them to be delivered, I only paid the extra above the Whooga boots as they are washable, and being as the boots are handmade in cornwall and not china I din't mind as much paying £115 for the classic boots. Which I might send back to get the calf length boots depending on how happy i am with them when they arrive.

Sorry got sidetracked, back to Whooga boots, I did my research before asking for htese as a gift, and know the ins and outs of them but there is a good review of them on Youtube. Iv had mine for a year, i love them i'v jsut started wearing them again due to the colder weather. I have the grey ones, which are fab and go with everything I wear. I think they have worn quite well, the soles still look great, there are a couple of marks on the boot, but I made the mistake fo not spray protecting them so thats my fault, if you buy the Whooga boots and Woly Protector for boots and bags, they should stay in excellent condition. Mine were ordered not long before xmas and took a while to get here, I didn't open them on christmas day :( but when they finally arrived, I couldn't have cared less they took a while to get here. They are fantastic and the fact that they are about £30 cheaper than genuine Uggs makes them even better, I have compared these to Uggs iv tried on in shops and I really can't spot any differences, if anything the inside of the boots are much softer than the fur on the Uggs making the Whoogas even better in my opinion :)

Sorry I mean about £60 price difference, paying the extra for genuine Ugg brand boots is really not worth it, you would be paying the extra money just for the boot to say Ugg and not Whooga.

don't know about Whooga uggs, but have just bought TKmaxx version, called Bearpaw. they are sheepskin, no different from Uggs but cost me less than 40 quid. they are so warm and snuggly.

chelsea86 · 19/10/2010 09:59

I'v seen the BearPaw ones too spotted them in TK Maxx the other day, they look just as good, but I did think they looked bigger than the Whoogas, I have narrow feet and size UK7 my feet looked huuuuge int eh Bear Paw ones, but the quality of them was fab in all fairness. My friend bought these, and I have noticed, her foot is wearing the to the side of the heel, don't know if this was an effect of them bein wider or just the sturdiness of the boot in keeping your ankle upright?
