I want some lovely soft leggings high enough on the waist that I don't get a muffin top! Has anyone tried either of these- or can recommend any others? Am shortish size 14 legs better than waist! Thanknyou x

Tried the Boden ones.
Very good quality and nice finish. Worth paying twice as much as M&S? - not sure.

Not tried Hush.

I have the Boden ones and am pleased with them. I haven't tried the hush ones.

Boden were thinner than I expected given the price

Thank you- think Imight have a boden offer code too. Can I ask were they highish at the waist?

Boden ones are just normal waist- depends how much you tug them up!

I bought a size 10 expecting it to be tight as their trousers are skimpy round the waist but they are fine. They are silky-ish .

Whistles are good too but I haven't tried the others.

I am wearing Boden leggings as I write. I bought 2 pairs with the £10 off £30 code so they cost £14 each with free delivery and returns, which compares fairly well with Marks.

They come up about 3 inches above my tummy button, and I think the quality is good. They are thick and soft enough for me.

I have ordered leggings from Marks but always sent them back because they didn't sit right.

I can't comment on Hush, though.

I tried hush ones and sent them back due to rubbish design and quality. They were wierdly low rise so the elastic stuck in around my widest part thus bisecting me and producing a big muffin top in spite of me not being fat. Someone else here also had same problem- from previous discussion. Not tried Boden. My vote goes to Whistles or Topshop.

Fgm-that is definately what I want to avoid- though I am a bit fat! I could have a look in topshop but I generally feel really really old as soon as I cross the threshold. Will prob try boden and look for the code employment used. Thanks!

I got some lovely ones that were quite think and came up high from simply be (pack of 2). Only problem is you need to be registered with them or know someone who is to buy :( but def worth it.

talkingnonsense- I had to steel myself for Topshop. It all looked way too fashiony and erm young for me
