Are Uggs REALLY worth the money

Am thinking of finally investing in a pair of Uggs, have been put off in the past but am looking forward to cosy comfort over winter as spend lot of time outdoors.

Are they really worth the extra money?

I've got the 'just sheepkin' ones (pretty similar I think) and I live in them from September to June.

Although this winter I am going to investigate Emu boots and Sorel boots as I think they are waterproof and I need them for wet / snowy pushchair pushing.

I think they are worth the money yes, and so warm and snug!

I have several pairs of deckers Uggs, they have been absolutely worth the money as several years on they still are in great condition and have good grip.

I wear mine round the house as slippers when it's cold as they are so toasty.

My Mum always bought cheapo ones (she walks to work in them then changes into her office shoes on arrival)and the back of the heel would collapse. I bought her some real ones which she insisted was an incredible waste of money. She's finally worn them out after 3 winters and is buying herself some new ones.

They really are worth it. Mine will be seeing in their 4th winter this year and they still look excellent, with good grips left on soles and still uber snugly!

I don't think they last any longer than fake ones (not the really cheap ones but I have some from M&S that are 3 years old and are still looking good!).

are Emu's just the same?

I absolutely love mine. I have 2 pairs and this will be their 3rd winter. They still look as new as the day I bought them and are still as warm and snug.

They are the best winter footwear ever invented IMO! I've had cheapy ones before from NEXT amongst other places and the real UGG's are 100% better!

i really think they are worth it. in the past i would not have splashed out, but got them halfprice two years ago. i wear them nearly every day, mostly inside as slippers. they are so warm and comfy. sometimes wear them if going just to local shop etc.

they are looking great considering the wear i have put them through. i will probably buy a new style soon, and am now willing to pay full price.
