What would you suggest? What kind of suit would you wear? I am front of house in an estate agents so need to look the part.

36FF boobs but not sure what is most flattering?

Have been back of house in the past so been ok in trousers and a cardi!

A jacket most important

Over dress, trousers or skirt

I find Austin Reed do a good cut for big bosom, look out for their sale.

Trouser suit is a very good staple.

Am of the larged norked variety, how about trousers, blouses / shirts and tank tops they look quite smart and will add a bit of warmth but will cover up buttons of shirts etc. If you had a couple in neutral colours could also go under jackets.

Would only need to iron sleeves too Grin

I am large norked too. I wear suits for work but I can't wear any shirts/blouses with them because they all have buttons and gape around my norks.

Have a look in Next - they do good priced suits. Trouser suit is a good staple.

Waistcoat and pencil skirt could be good...

Bargain

Jasper Conran suit jackets are v. generous on the bust IME- and nice too. Get the matching skirt and it's a suit.

Some serious digging yesterday (I'm also big of nork and suit hunting) revealed that Ted Baker and Planet both seem to have jackets that accomodate big boobs.

I'm also eyeing up that bravissimo jacket - I have a couple and they're very good. Their shirts also solve the button popping open or shirt too big everywhere else issues.

I had a look at Bravissimo but they don't seem to do entire suits. M&S had some lovely bits when I was in earlier today so once I know for sure that I am making the move I'll have a proper dig. Never thought of Planet. Like their trousers.

How about a nice wrap dress (with a cami underneath, to make customers look you in they eye rather than the fantastic norks). You can add a jacket if required.

peeweewee · 17/10/2010 21:08

I've taken to wearing a fitted dress with a little bit of pretend boning or something (I'm not that posh!) in the middle to give it some shape and I always get complimented in it. Heels and a cardigan. I'm a size 16 with D to DD boobies so not a skinny chicken.

A shallowish v-necked jacket (with or without lapels) is good for big norks.

I can recommend Bravissimo for shirts/ blouses.

Also I recently bought this from them. It isn't nearly as short on me as it is on the model, I'm 5 ft 6. It comes to just above the knee. I wear a very thin polo neck underneath (Uniqlo heat tech). I've had loads of compliments for it, it's very smart. It's a bit narrow in the skirt - not so great if you go galumphing down the High Street in flats, but fine with high heels in an office. You could wear with a black or charcoal grey jacket.
