I know this has been done to death but I'm 20 wks pg and just about to pop out my last few normal clothes, I'm 6ft and have scoured the net for 'tall maternity jeans', apart from the fact that my size seems to be out of stock a lot, most are either way too expensive or they look, well, frumpy. I've had loads of websites mentioned to me but what I want is someone who has actually bought a pair from somewhere, loves them and would recommend.....I normally wear bootcut/slimish style from topshop whcih fit well if that helps.....tia.

I'm not sure what my inside like is but I'm about 5"10 and always struggle to get trousers long enough. They are either wayyy to short or the long legs are too long. I'm 39 weeks pg and have found that only h and m trousers have been both long enough and comfortable enough all the way through. Good luck X

Perhaps someone on here might have found the Holy Grail of long leg maternity trousers but unfortunately it isn't me. At 5'10" I tried several during my first two pregnancy's but gave up with the third and invested in 4 belly bands that held my normal trousers up and covered the gap. I think I looked better and it would have been a whole lot cheaper if I had done it with my first!

I got my maternity jeans from Seraphine, not sure what the leg length was but I'm 5'10'' and had to turn them up when wearing flats. They were about £45 but really flattering... I wore them to death and am still wearing them 4 months after giving birth!

looky here

New look online had one pair on maternity jeans in a 36 leg when I was pregnant (brought them last christmastime) dark blue bootcut type like you describe. They were so comfortable and I'm still wearing them because I'm still a bit lardy :D I don't know if they still have them. They were only about £20. I found during my first pregnancy I could wear long ones from Dorothy Perkins and wear them low. They were not comfy though. Long tall sally were out of stock of every pair of mat jeans for the whole of my last pregnancy but if they have got some now I'd imagine they would be good HTH

I bought this pair today. My inside leg is 34", I'm 5'10 and the fit is amazing, but I would say that they are actually a couple of inches too long for me, so they should fit you perfectly. I'm a 10 (pre-pregnancy) and size M fits well.

TrappedinSuburbia · 16/10/2010 20:44

I got 2 pairs from long tall sally, they were expensive, uncomfortable and just horrible.

I got long ones from DP but they were ankle skimmers lol, very comfy though, wore them with ballet shoes and they looked ok.

Have you tried next online, you can order and return them to a store or by courier if you don't like them? I find that although the XL say its a 33" inside leg, they are way way longer than that (I take a 36 inside leg as well) and are a bit long on me.

BeehiveBaby · 16/10/2010 20:49

I would have thought you'd have no trouble, I have a Crave pair with a clear foot beyond my ankle IYSWIM! Topshop too.

bootus · 16/10/2010 20:53

Thankyou so much for the replies, anyone would think us lanky lasses dont get pregnant! I loved the look of the zara pair thanks youngblowfish, but, aaargh, typical the M is out of stock. I'll look at all the links carefully and if I cant find any I'll resign myself to the belly bands and continue to bitch about the lack of choice for us....thanks again.

Aye, its just nearly ok for us to find trousers/jeans that are long enough nowadays, never mind being pregnant as well!

Honestly, try next, they're mega long, despite their claims of a 33" (which would look like ankle skimmers on me if they really were that short)
