I'm having my long hair chopped today, and no one knows lol

My mum is coming round to have the kids, and she thinks I am just going for a trim and a few layers, but I am having my just past shoulder length hair, cut into a very short bob.

I haven't told anyone because they will talk me out of it. I did mention it to my mum the other week and she said 'ohhh no it is nice how it is'.

I recently had a fringe put in and everyone loved it, including me, but I have to wear my hair up for work now, and I look about 12 then, and I hate it.

So, smarter more grown up bob I think.

Can't wait to see my mum and the dc's reaction later lol.

I did this a while ago and went to collect DH and the boys from the airport and they didnt recognise me! DH said 'what the hell have you done?' DS2 cried and Ds1 told me I looked like Mrs Clarke at school! (not a compliment!)

It really suits you. I agree that a couple of times of washing and styling it yourself and you'll love it. Definately the right decision IMO

In general it got a mixed reaction. A couple of people at work loved it, and a couple just said 'have you had your hair cut' and then didn't say anything more lol.

It's is much better for work though, so I like it.
