Anyone with small feet ever buy children's shoes?

Some of the Startrite boots are lovely, and cheap because you pay no tax on kids footwear.

My best buys have been:

Fleecy pyjamas - I could never have bought an adults pair of pj's for the same price without compromising heavily on quality.

Boots - Good solid winter boots, would cost me around £60 for an adult pair, I have never spent more than £30 by buying childrens' sizes (I am a shoe size 4 / 5)

Socks - Me and dd have the same pairs of multicoloured socks! Blush

Coats - Fantastic value, and normally better for me for arm length as I am tiny. You need to be more careful re: style though. You don't want to look like you are going around in a 'school' coat that might have your name sewn in the hood Grin

Nobody has ever twigged that I am wearing childrens' clothes and I have advised all my tiny shortarsed friends to do the same!

I'm in need of new shoes and a coat and will be buying kids sizes this year :) thanks!

I've occasionally bought children's shoes (size 5) but mostly sports shoes/trainers. Hadn't really considered looking at others but will do now!

I always buy kids trainers (I am a size 4 or 5) You can get exactly the same styles as they have for adults but they're just cheaper. I have bought kids clothes in the past when I was a bit slimmer as I am small!
