I like it but Im worried that she will think its too babyish. She already has a Holister top!!

If they made a big one of those I would wear it as a tunic. Maybe notwith the buttons on the top.

Why don't you ask the 9 year old in question?

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 13/10/2010 23:38

Hmm. My 8 yr old would adore that. I am not sure my 10 yr old would. Can you show it to her before you buy it? I tend to do that mostly as I find it quite hard to predict what will be a hit and what a miss.

her 8 year old sister would love it. I kind of wanted to get them one each in different colours (cant you tell Im not their mother?!!) I just like sending them surprises. I dont suppose it is very school discoish is it? I hate the way clothes get so old after 8.

My 9 yr old might as a tunic with leggings and boots but she wouldn't wear it as a dress.

do you buy her dresses for the Christmas party season or are they all about leggings these days? Oh, it was so easy when they were five!

kittya, I think it is lovely, but I have a 9 year old who is anti-fashion and doesn't like flowers, other girls her age would like it imho - it is not baby-ish and it is so much better than some wannabe teen look imho.
