what colour TIGHTS with my beige (Zara) mid-length skirt?

goregous skirt from Zara, tan/camel/beige (whateveryouwanttocallit)I bought to wear to work.
Sits mid calf.
I have a large variety of shoes Wink but don't know what to do about tights apart from the fact that I think black opaques will probably be a NO.

Will I have to wear Mummy tights (aka nylons) or could I wear cream woolly ones or does this also sound ridiculous?

I am size 8 and 5'7 (only mention this cos I get asked this when I've posted here before)

If I can't resolve this I shall have to return it, despite loving it as I am not flush.

Can you post a link to said skirt please? It sounds just what I've been looking for. I'm tall and cannot find anything to cover my knees for work.

Now tights... Hmmmm... nude is the first thing that springs to mind. But... what about an opaque chocolate?

What sort of shoes are you wearing with it? Heels?

Or.... what about boots? Long enough for the tops to be hidden under hem of skirt? Then you don't need to worry about colour of tights too much.

Depends on the shoes, if its heels then the mummy tights or you could wear high boots.

www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-sales/11018/129562/MIDI%2BFLARE%2BSKIRT

sorry I forgot Zara is now online.
They have styled it in a very classic way with mummy tights....but it's bloody cold where I live!

I don't really do boots...and the boots would need to be brown, wouldn't they?

burgundy/plum

I have mid height heels or flats or brogues....(cough)

The website styling is surprisingly blah-I got very excited by the range of fantastic skirts in store and also tried to buy the same skirt in a sort of navy denimy fabric as well but they didn't have my size.

If it wasn't for work I would try the ankle socks thing!
