DD is already 20 mo and still bf. My hair...haven't words to describe it, really, it's just a few lifeless strands hanging from my scalp. I always had baby-fine hair, but thicker, sinier and more than now.

Just went to have a haircut (first one in years) and the hairdresseer said because I'm still bf I cant do Kerastase cure they sell there. But I know you can take zinc and other stuff to make it stronger, right?

Please help, my hair is so awful I feel like weeping.

  • Floradix or another liquid Iron supplement (the powder one?)
  • Omega 3 fish oil (high quality to avoid heavy metals)
  • B complex vitamins
  • Peppermint tea

Boots doa Skin, Hair and Nails complex which works, albeit slowly. You may not ahve lustrous locks, but it definitely helps.

I have hair like yours - baby fine, and breaks easily. I don't even have a recent pregnancy to blame for it. DD has also inherited it. I don't use a dietary supplement, but I do use products to try and make it look thicker.

On DD (12yo) I use Paul Mitchell Strength spray, which makes her long straight hair look a bit thicker, and very shiney. It's supposed to make it temporarily stronger too.

On my hair, which is currently short, I'm using Loreal Studio Indestructible gel spray, which adds some texture, and stops it lying so flat.

Washing it and blow drying it every day also fluffs it up and makes it look better. I don't suppose you've got the time though.

I'm in agreement re the boots skin, hair and nails! They are inexpensive and always on 3 for 2 offer. Funnily enough I have definitely seen a HUGE improvement in my pmt since taking them but you do need to be patient and remember to take them everyday! x

You need silica or horsetail herb - that really helps. Sea Kelp is also excellent!
