Is there a winter alternative to flip flops?

Ballerina shoes make me look silly and I just love my flip flops ..can anyone suggest an alternative please.

Erm... get a pair of winter boots. Wear your flipflops indoors where it's warm.

Or find flipflops with a huge platform so that you are elevated over any snow or puddles

Boots surely are the equivalent, because they are the thing most suited for the weather and underfoot conditions, in the way that flipflops are in the summer.

Crocs are vile and should be made illegal IMO.

Thank you ,I have uggs but they don't fit under jeans in the casual way flip flops do. Never mind I guess what I want doesn't exist ,thanks anyway

what about slip on shoes like penny loafers or mary jane type shoes?

yeah , like I said I have uggs and skinny jeans. I like wearing my flip flops with my Diesel jeans as they just look better than any type of shoes. Prob birkenstocks are the nearest thing, shame I dont like them.

Or stick with the flip flops and get some tabi socks off ebay. (Seriously considering this myself as pregnant feet have out-swollen all other shoes.)
