Hmm, looks like it just hangs there, shapeless. Strange picture too imo.

TheNextMrsDepp · 11/10/2010 18:14

How bizarre, I was just looking at that very dress online about 10 minutes ago..... So I would also like to know if it is nice in RL!

Sorry but it looks - well sort of ... straight up and down - dare I say - tent like. Sorry. We can find better.

No no I like straight up and down, it says it hides bumps and lumps.

I need a dress for a school formal, I'm not buyng something too 'formal' because I'll never wear it again. I can't wear any jewellery with it and I need to be able to move my arms easily (I'm accompianing a child with severe special needs) I thought thicktights and high shoes.

I love it!!

cocolepew · 11/10/2010 18:30

Well I've sent for it, I'll report back Smile

Be sure to report back, OP!

I'm after something similar, thought something with sleeves, quite short and tunic-like, mainly for going out for dinner/posh drinkies etc.

I've just ordered this. Free delivery code on Next at the moment (look on the Voucher Codes thread).

Any other ideas welcome.....

InspectorPinot · 11/10/2010 18:52

I ordered it but I'm returning it - was good quality but I found it a bit shapeless and not very flattering (on me) although it definitely skimmed rather than being clingy. The sizing was quite generous - I fitted easily into a 10 but I'm usually a muffin-topped generous 12 - nearly worth getting for that reason alone!

MadameCastafiore · 11/10/2010 19:00

Think it would be ok if it was a bit shorter but at that length needs to be a bit more fitted or would endf up looking like a box!

switchtvoffdosomelessboring · 12/10/2010 10:11

Why is the model pretending to be a penguin?

notyummy · 12/10/2010 10:17

I like it in principle, but suspect that unless you are quite slim (10 at the most unless tall tbh), it could make you look wide and waistless. It is pretty though.

FellatioNelson · 12/10/2010 10:24

Um...well it's not horrible, but it is a bit boring! If you want a short black cocktail dress I'm sure there are better ones out there.
