Style and beauty

3 words to describe your style

I was in the hairdresser recently when I read an article in a magazine (don't recall which) saying to use 3 words to define your style and then remind yourself of these 3 words when you are shopping/getting dressed. Sounds a bit bonkers but I actually I think it may focus me a bit more as I tend to buy random things in a rush (2 pre school DCs in two) and then end up with a jumbled set of clothes. At the moment I woudl say my 3 words are random, a bit mumsy and lacking style (OK thats more than 3 but you get my drify). Anyhoo, I like the idea of chic, stylish and ?? not sure what else. So next time I shop these will be the words I have in mind. Just thought I would share.

Wouldn't we all want to be stylish chic and groomed?
So it's not much help.

It's identifying the items from the masses availbale that will make you look stylish chic and groomed that is the tricky thing.

scottishmummy.... I'm curious.... low-maintenance and groomed... to me, that's a bit of a contradiction?!? I'm thinking, if only the well-groomed look could be low-maintenance???
Envy if you manage to achieve this.... how do you do it? :)

I read the same article and spent ages thinking about this. DD is now 11 months so starting to think about me a bit:

Functional (coats need to keep me warm, need to be able to walk in shoes)
Flattering (clothes should help not hinder on this issue)
Beautiful (thinking of some of my favourite pieces pre DD and now close to being back into them (when DD isn't attached to me :) )
