Leggings are not farkin trousers

They do not cunnigly disguise your cellulite and fat arse.
They do give you a camel's hoof effect.

To the two women at my work who wear them with what could generously be described as a tunic (just - by millimetres - covering your fanjos) either put some fuckin trousers on or wear longer tops.

Arses.

Ah, that's better.

I bet you look like you have stepped out of a fashion shoot.....

ruddynorah · 08/10/2010 21:54

ESPECIALLY if they're cheap and a bit see through.

NotPhillipeVonRumple · 08/10/2010 21:54

No I don't at all but I am not moron who can't dress appropriately for work and I do know a basic fashion faux pas is leggings with a short top (unless some sort of exercising thingy, even then, you are one of those keen eejits at the front of aerobics)

Indeed RuddyNorah, indeed.

HA! I've been walking around the streets muttering this to DH for the past 18mth. I must look like a mad, old loon. I'll even yell it in the car if someone should pass my vision in them

Enough already!

Leggings and tunics is a naff old look and no mistake (dick van dyke).

It's all so tired.

Don;t wear leggins . Just say no.

Ronaldinhio · 08/10/2010 21:57

good for christmas pantos though

NotPhillipeVonRumple · 08/10/2010 21:58

Yes I bought some then decided I was only wearing them instead of tights and they just crumpled round the knee norah batty style. They will only be worn on bonfire night now under jeans.

Panto - fine.

Yes, good for winter layers. Especially for the under 15s

NotPhillipeVonRumple · 08/10/2010 22:00

Oh god, fine on children (still with long tops though). DD can't wear tights (always ends up with crotch half way to knees) so leggings great for her.

Just point them to the elasticated slack look

MonkeyChicken · 08/10/2010 22:02

I never got round to getting a pair. My 2 year old wears them a lot at the mo as I'm getting extra wear out of last year's dresses by reusing them as tunics...

NotPhillipeVonRumple · 08/10/2010 22:05

Oh fgs usual suspects, bet you wear them with farking short tops don't you.
Get thyself to damart dear. Much more appropriate (or maybe just ANYTHING where you aren't jangling your arse around the office looking like you've just got out of bed - leggings with ugg boots/granny slippers anyone ). Eejits.

I wore them first time round Wink
