This is going to sound mad but I am just wondering if I have done something crazy and odd.

There is a lovely mum at school, whose style I really admire. She is someone I happily chat to but we're not coffee house friends type thing, just fellow mums.

Anyway she had this bag. I loved her bag, thought it was the most lovely bag in the world. I felt sad that I had not got her bag, and would never have her bag, because she is so special and lovely and always looks just right (and I don't)

So I searched ebay for her bag, knowing the make, but not the style iyswim...and after about 8 months or so of daily search emails, I found it. It's an older model as it were, so not in the shops, but there it was on ebay and I bought it Blush

I have worn it to school every day this week, and she has not said a word about it, though we have talked. I should say at this juncture that she stopped wearing hers well before the summer hols and still uses a different one every day so she is not wearing the same bag as me, now.

But I suddenly feel dreadful. Does she think I am a freak? Has she not even noticed? Does she not care?

Should I pretend I don't KNOW I have her old bag's clone?

Please help, I am an emotional wreck.

Nice bag.

I want a link to the perfect schaool gate mum now though.

I reckon it's fine. If you were best friends and you got the bag the week aftre she had it would be freaky, but mothers at the gates will occasionally duplicate accessories, we have to come to terms with that.

Well thankfully I'm not enamoured with her new bag at all so won't feel the need to clone that.

She is one of the nicest people I've ever met so I hope she won't mind. And I know she doesn't use MN, thankfully Hmm

that would be awkward.

Lovely bag, I really like the fossil bags but got a cheap(er) version. Had surreal moment when I first looked at link, I thought it was my bag I used to use but haven't lately, but I'm not really one of 'those' women Envy I doubt anyone will be copying my style anytime soon. I don't think u should worry too much, if you were close friends it might be problem. Think if you'd got a 'next' bag & every other mum would have one the same. Have done that with their summer patterned tops, now feel like saying 'snap' when I see one. If was me & she ever mentioned it, id probably say 'I thought I'd seen one like this somewhere'
