Bras - recommend me some very comfy...

but desperately unsexy soft cotton non-wired bras.

Must be nice thick, soft, plain cotton with no bits that dig in. No itchy lace bits either.

Local M and S didn't have anything suitable - the non wired ones were all too thin and flimsy, had lace trimming or weren't cotton.

Is this the sort of thing that Sloggi might do?

Try Ample Bosoms - I've just bought a fantastically comfy Glamorise bra from them.

if you're large of nork like me, Simply Be have some good ones.........I bought them to wear whilst pg and they were really comfy.

Try Less Bounce - they specialise in sports bras, and you can search for crop tops which are all cotton and no annoying bits

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, my bosoms are very far from ample Envy, though I realise the op makes me sound more norkacious. I just find thick fabric (not elastic) straps more comfy and less likely to get twisted.

Will check out Less Bounce.

Okay these aren't cotton BUT they are seriously comfy. I can't wear anything nylony, tight or scratchy next to my skin (which counts out most bras) but this material is fine.

They are a little on the thinnish side, but you could even double them up as they are fairly inexpensive as bras go.

Sloggi

Hmm that Figleaves link didn't work, try this Suzanne Charles one (they are 50p cheaper here anyway!)

I want soft comfy bras to wear to bed, but have trouble finding any.

I am of ample norkage though so need to wires in the day time.

piprabbit · 08/10/2010 16:13

While it's never going to win awards for allure, this bra is very good for sleeping in.
More is a structured cami/vest rather than a bra IYSWIM.

BridesheadRegardless · 08/10/2010 22:04

Yes that's the sort of thing I'm thinking of piprabbit. But not the sort of thing Dh is thinking of unfortunatelyGrin.

piprabbit · 08/10/2010 22:23

DH rolled over and laid on my saggy boobs one to many times.
The bra is my revenge and an attempt to prevent my boobs spreading over the entire bed.
