Moroccan oil? yes or no

I know there has been a thread about this before, so forgive me.
I have dark, thick fairly coarse hair. Always need to straighten it to make it look decent, or wear it up.
Fancy trying Moroccan oil but it is fairly expensive and I am on a budget. I would be happy to pay for it if it would really make a difference but am fed up with myself for buying things that promise gorgeous silky hair and then fail to deliver!
Anyone had any experiences they care to share? Thank you.

I've used a mobile hairdresser for DD a couple of times who has used it on her hair (her hair os thick, curly and prone to frizziness like mine!). It definitely tames the frizz and makes her curls nice and defined.

If I could afford it I would probably buy some, but I find boots curl creme works really well for us and is much cheaper!

Yes, it's amazing. (I've tried Boots Curl Creme; didn't like it). I am selling my possessions on ebay to afford to use it every day...

I tried it recently and didn't like it, but I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority!

Something I wish I'd thought about before I bought it ? do you like Frizz-ease, etc? Do they 'sit' well in your hair and improve it? Moroccan oil is still just a silicone, albeit one that has argan oil and smells amazing. But my curly, fine (but lots of it) hair has never liked silicone, so this was no different.

Lots of reviews here, though you have to register.

You can get a small travel size on ebay for relatively cheap to try!

Thanks for this, away to look for a travel size one to try it out. I do tend to use Frizz ease but feel like I use a larger quantity than directed to to have any effect, so hoping this might be my miracle find Wink

featherblue - what products work on your hair? Interested as I have the same hair type Smile

Lady, I use VO5 Curl Scrunching Spray all over (and underneath) then about a squirt and a half of Toni & Guy Twist it Curl Balm scrunched in. Then I dry it completely upside down with a diffuser. Seems to work for me!

Oh thanks Smile Will try!
