What to wear for a great photo shoot

Hi

I am after some advice please ladies :)

I have booked a photo shoot for my dh, ds (21 months) and myself to have some family piccies done. I am now wondering what we should wear.

We took some earlier in the year (at home with tripod) and both dh and I wore jeans and black t-shirts and ds wore a bright t-shirt. These looked quite good and I was wondering, although it was a fluke, would it look like we had "thought too hard" over what to wear?

The photographers style is similar-ish to Venture so not formal. Both dh and I usually wear jeans ... and I'm a size 14/16 so would like something that will help slim me, not make me look larger.

Think that's most bases covered.

Thanks in advance

I would wear jeans and a white shirt or blue chambray shirt, and the same for your dh. Keep in plain and simple, as you want you to stand out not your clothes in 10 years time.Grin

I agree with Mary - go with something timeless. I think black shirts are a good idea though. We are doing something similar soon so I should start to think about this too!

Thanks. I don't have a white shirt but could get one. I think I need to think how smart / casual I want to be (white shirt - casual for most people is very smart for me :))

we had photos done, and had the adults in blue shirts and the dc in bright red tops. Looked good!

But have also done where girls wear lilac shades and boys blue shades (incl adults)
