If you're there on a Sunday, buy a local Sunday newspaper, not US News and World Report or the local edition of the New York Times or the Washington Post, but the local proper newspaper. There are loads of sale ads and often coupons for weekly sales in a huge number of department stores and other places like Target; you'll easily recoup the cost of the paper.

YYY, post your receipts back to yourself and toss the clothes into the suitcase. Bring an extra bag in your baggage going out. My mum used to complain when I reminded her to stash the extra bag every time she came over, and we always ended up buying the second bag because she always bought so much stuff, and she never declared a thing.

Sephora has closed down at Bluewater, none left in the UK

Kittya I believe Uggs are now made in China. Some shady business dealing there IIRC. :)

Definitely go with outlet malls if you can! We've got a great one near us, huge with all kinds of shops. I've thought about starting an Ebay business selling things I buy there. :)

Look on money saving expert it has about shipping and what to do if a company won't ship to UK!. I am tempted.....

I know what you mean about being tempted but you have to take into account tax etc. Not all things work out that much cheaper. I was looking at Philosphy online last night, that was reccommended to me but it works out only about £2 cheaper. I would go with Uggs and most definitely Levis.

Just checked- the limit for importing goods from non-EU country is 145 pounds, incl souvenirs and gifts....
