Yet another 'what shall i wear for a wedding' question

creequealley · 01/10/2010 22:42

Going to the evening reception of a some friends at the end of the month and i have nothing to wear - all suitable dresses are maternity wear and i ain't doing that again.

I'm 5ft 7, size 38d bosoms and a 40cm hip (have a waist but no idea what it measures). I tend to prefer plainer garments and i don't really want to spend more than £40.

I also don't have much time to get to shops with 3 children under the age of 5....

The Coast dresses are gorgeous, very good shape for those with a generous chest. Also, how about this? Saw it in Monsoon earlier today, lovely. They had it in the window with black opaques and high black patent shoes.

the coast Jinny is nice but not too surer about the colours. Don't like the second one from there and the first one seems a bit too figure hugging for me - jersey seems to stick to all my bumps.

I know it is M & S but rather nice.
Might be worth looking at Wallis.

Jump -sorry i got distracted by the 'pins' the girl seems to using to support herself. I'm a bit bigger of frame than her ( this is the M and S one). Is it nice enough for a wedding? The wallis one i'm not sure about

Sorry Mini there's something about the monsoon one that just doesn't work for me.

No worries at all. I bought it today for a wedding next weekend as I've just found out I'm pregnant and I wanted something comfortable but pretty.

I have to say the purple one from Wallis that jump has linked to is really nice indeed.
