Opinions on bodycon style dresses?

Have tried one which I think actually looks quite good and flattering on me .... but not entirely convinced.

For one thing, are they still in fashion?

Also - I have never actually seen one on anyone (other than models in mags!). Do they look any good in real life? Am I deluded in thinking this one looks okay? Don't want to be one of those people who kid themselves they look good squeezing into something skin tight (this one in my defence is very thick material and doesnt show much). (am an average size 12 btw).

yes yes yes! they will always be in fashion (imo)! i think they DEFINITELY look good in real life. it's basically the only style of dress I wear and a size 12 would look gorgeous in one. I am a size 8 and often wish I looked just that bit curvier in it because it's the perfect dress to show off a figure like that.
